From start to finish, Hy-Line's family will make sure that your purchase is all that you hope it will be In 1986, after 20 years experience in design, engineering, manufacturing and sales of travel trailers, Mel Hyman decided it was time to establish his own company. In March of that year, Hy-Line Enterprises was incorporated in the State of Indiana. Through past experience Mel recognize the importance of the RVIA standards to insure dealer quality and customer safety. Hy-Line applied for membership with RVIA and immediately began production. After only six months, the rented facility, which was home to our first units, proved to be inadequate to meet our production goals. We then purchased a new 17,000 square foot manufacturing site on Beck Drive in Elkhart, IN. In July of 1989, Hy-Line completed an 11,250 square foot addition to the facility necessary to maintain our flexible production schedule. Hy-Line has recently acquired the adjacent building to house our final finish department, With over 100 years combined experience, we consider ourselves unique in that we are large enough to meet our dealers' demands, yet small enough to give individual attention to the customers' choices. We remain comfortable with a maximum production of 20 units per week allowing us to service our dealers with outstanding delivery time. We are constantly adding to our growing dealer base with dealers in approximately 40 states, Canada and England. We welcome inquires from the public and encourage our present and prospective dealers to call or visit our production site. |
