Canada's RV Dealer of the Year - 2002 The most recent honor has been the Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA) of Canada's "RV Dealer of the Year". This award is extra special as it reflects the respect we have earned through years of dedication and attention to the needs of the customer, the community and the RVDA. This award is also special in that, it is chosen by our peers, the RV dealers in Canada. Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" In 1998 Woody Paylor (our founder) was presented with the prestigious Ernst and Young 1998 Prairie Region "Entrepreneur of the Year" award in the retail category. The Entrepreneur of the Year Awards was initiated by the accounting firm Ernst & Young in 1994 and is widely considered the top recognition program for Canadian business owners. Readers Choice Award Woody's RV World has been recognized for the past 7 years as the recipient of the Reader's Choice Gold Award from the Calgary Herald. As well, the Red Deer Express has presented us with their top award for both RV dealership and RV repair since the awards inception, some 10 years ago. Manufacturers Awards of Excellence From the RV industry we have received numerous awards including the Fleetwood Circle of Excellence for top honors in customer service for 10 years in a row. With these prestigious honors for outstanding accomplishments in both business and customer service the standard has been set for us all. Some provide a simple place for sleeping and eating, while others are virtually luxury lodges on wheels - equipped with conveniences ranging from separate sleeping accommodations, complete kitchen and bathroom facilities (including showers and even bathtubs) to washer and dryers, central heat and air conditioning and slide-out sections which substantially increase interior space. RVs fall into two general categories: Towable RVs (designed to be towed or carried by a car, van, pickup truck, or sport utility vehicle) and Motorized RVs (which contain their own engine). |
